Does laser hair removal hurt?

Side effects are usually minimal. You may experience temporary redness, slight swelling, or mild skin sensitivity, which typically fades within a few hours. In rare cases, temporary pigment changes may occur, especially on very sensitive skin.
How long does the treatment take?
Treatment time depends on the area being treated. Your session may also include a quick 15-minute patch test if it’s your first visit.
Am I suitable for the treatment?
Most individuals are good candidates. The Derma Quad Laser is designed to safely and effectively treat various skin types and hair types. During your consultation, your skin and hair will be assessed to ensure optimal results and safety.
When can I see the results of this treatment?
You’ll start noticing reduced hair growth after your first 1–2 sessions. The most significant results typically appear by session 6, as hair grows in cycles. Over time, the hair becomes finer, lighter, and much less noticeable.
How can I maintain these results?
- Complete the full recommended course of sessions.
- Schedule maintenance treatments every 6–12 months, depending on your hair growth.
- Avoid waxing or plucking between sessions—shaving is recommended.
- Protect your skin from the sun to prevent irritation or pigmentation.
